Daelus was founded out of a need to take matters into our own hands.

After having to endure uncomfortable earbuds for a marathon in 2023, we have had enough.

Over the years we have tried many open ear earphones that are on the market, but none have met our specific needs. We dislike the traditional ear hook designs and their bulk, and it often takes both hands to adjust them properly or secure special elements for stability.

With this in mind, we set out to look for a solution with three key criteria:

  • One hand operation
  • Exceptional comfort
  • Ability to maintain awareness of our surroundings while enjoying music or podcast

The QD-6 is the outcome of our search. A super lightweight, open-ear clip-on design that is mighty enough to last a half marathon on a single charge, a full one if you are on a decent time. They are so comfortable that we often forget we are wearing them. Yet all these come at a price tag that does not sting.
